The next meeting will be on Tuesday November 7th. Registration is at 10:30 am and the first presentation starts at 11:00 am. Lunch will be at noon and during lunch we will have our second presenter.
Our first presenter is Amy Baker, VP of Marketing for Wombat Security. Amy will be presenting ‘70 Million Responses Can’t be Wrong‘.
This session will share the results of Wombat Security’s 2017 Beyond the Phish Report, which analyses the aggregate data of 70 million responses to security questions and training challenges across several different topics. You’ll learn in which topics end users are the strongest and the weakest so that you can determine how to plan or improve your security awareness and training program. Understand knowledge in various industries and how they differ so that you can have a benchmark against which to compare your end users’ knowledge.
We’ll take a break around noon to grab some lunch then Drew Schuil, VP Global Product Strategy at Imperva, will present ‘Can you prevent a breach from happening? It’s time to rethink Data Breach Prevention. According to Verizon’s DBIR – in 83% of cases, it took weeks before victims discovered their organization had been breached. Users and applications remain the weakest link in data security and are the leading contributors of data breaches.
After the second presentation we will have the drawing for $50 AMEX gift card and lunch. The winner must be present to claim the prize or we will redraw.
