Membership


Regular membership is granted by the Chapter Board of Directors. Persons engaged as (a) managerial or supervisory personnel in IT installation systems; (b) systems and method analysts, research specialists and computer programmers employed in executive, administrative and consulting capacities; (c) staff managers, educators, and executive personnel with a direct interest in information technology; or (d) holders of any valid IT certification. Chapter Activities


The heart of the Pittsburgh chapter lies in its membership. All members have available to them extensive educational programs carried on through regular meetings, usually featuring a talk by an industry expert, tours of local installations, audio visual presentations, etc.

At chapter meetings, members have the opportunity for informal but direct contact with peers. In this way, they share in the benefits of new ideas and experiences which are provided in no other way. The Pittsburgh Chapter arranges the type of meetings most helpful to the career interest of its membership. Please see our events page for further details.
